it's a very good phone. here's a god damned pro/con list

pros:
  - stock software feels really good
  - can run grapheneOS
  - usb-c
  - feels fast & smooth
  - does not include much bloatware

cons:
  - is a google product
  - size is a little "large-ish" for me
  - no wireless charging
  - no swappable battery
  - brittle screen
  - lots of bugs
    - visual voicemail inexplicably doesn't work
    - homescreen launcher crashes randomly
    - app switch bar thing glitches and stops working

overall, i'm glad to have left iphone-land (finally) but
still find the pixel 5a a little lacking.

but tbh, i do like it, and i do lightly recommend it.

a very decent iphone alternative. best i've ever used.
